Varun on D-gang hitlist, moved to Etah jail

Pilibhit (Uttar Pradesh): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha candidate Varun Gandhi was shifted from the prison in Pilibhit to a jail in Uttar Pradesh's Etah town early on Wednesday, an official said.
Varun Gandhi was shifted to Etah at around 01:30 hrs IST "for security reasons", said jailor of the Piliphit district jail, Mukesh Arora.
The decision came barely a few hours before the shutdown called by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in the entire Bareilly region to protest Varun Gandhi's detention under the National Security Act (NSA).
On Sunday the Mayawati government had invoked the NSA against Varun Gandhi for his reported hate speeches and mob violence during his arrest on Saturday.
Anyone booked under NSA cannot get bail for at least six months. This time frame can extend up to a year.
Contrary reports suggest that the decision to move Varun to Etah jail was triggered after the Intelligence Bureau (IB) unearthed a plot to kill him.
According to reports, the IB intercepted orders by Chota Shakeel for the elimination of the BJP candidate from Pilibhit.
Shakeel reportedly sent for his key shooter for this special assignment.
As a result of IB's tip-off, the state home department ordered more than a dozen policemen - headed by a DSP and two Sub Inspectors - to surround Varun's vehicle as soon as it left Delhi for Pilibhit on March 28.
Varun, however, was unaware of the threat when he set out to court arrest. There was panic when Varun had changed cars enroute and slipped off the radar for sometime

Anjali Waghmare to defend Kasab

Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist caught alive in the 26/11 Mumbai terror strikes, was on Monday provided with a lawyer from the state legal aid cell.
The special court on Monday appointed Anjali Waghmare (40), a lawyer with the Maharashtra Service Legal Authority, to defend Kasab in the November 26 terror strike, which is likely to begin on April 6 in the high security Arthur Road jail here.

When the court introduced Waghmare to Kasab, through video conferencing, he smiled and said "OK, sir."

"My name was shortlisted along with 17 other lawyers and I was asked to appear today in the court if I want to defend Kasab," Waghmare said.

Refusing to specify reasons for defending Kasab, she said, "I am confident and not scared to defend Kasab as I know my duties as an Indian and towards my fellow citizens."
Requesting media to convey the right message about her to the public, she asked the court to provide her adequate security.

On March 23, Kasab, who had earlier sought consular access from Pakistan, had requested the court to provide a lawyer at the expense of the state, in the absence of a response from Islamabad.

Following the request, the court prepared a panel of 17 lawyers. Of the 17 advocates, Waghmare's name was approved by the judge to appear for Kasab, a resident of Faridkot in Pakistan.

Waghmare, a Law graduate from Symbiosis college in Pune, has been practising since 1996 in both civil and criminal cases.
Waghmare has been working with the state legal aid cell for last ten years and has appeared in several Anti-corruption and MCOCA cases.
She had also briefly appeared for Karimulla, an accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case

Now what Congress ? the table has turned..?

I was so baffled that I did not see it coming, that all the efforts the crazy vote bank sucking secularist political parties putting great pressure on the BJP on the case of Varun Gandhi did an opposite reaction, and this time thanks to the English and Hindi news channels for demonizing Varun, I guess that made the difference in some peoples opinion.
I mean these news channels (Barkha Dutt and gang) always make huge cry about what Hindus say and do, I’ll remind here because people don’t remember that Mangalore incident was on the headlines for a month and now this will remain on the headlines for at least 3 months.
Similarly do you remember the clip where Taslima Nasreen was man handled by Muslims in Hyderabad, or did you remember when an elected member of Samajwadi Party announced an award of 5 crores to any Muslim who will bring the Danish cartoonist head? Etc. you won’t remember this because our electronic media has a policy which says that only Hindu misdeeds are offence, misdeeds done by Muslims and Christians evanglic, union catholic church are pranks.

But I glad that all this effort by our media and congress led parties have backfired, having said that I hope BJP see their fortune better now. Whatever happens to the BJP and NDA I don’t know but this whole episode that took place in Philibhit will refresh people’s memory of Hindu bashing.

What Pakistan Needs

It's a very sad to see a nation fading out, but what is the main problem of Pakistan that has brought Pakistan into the present situation. My point of view is very clear in this matter because I don't carry any politeness for no one which our leaders grab all the time in coming to a conclusion about events happening in the country.

The straight problem of the Pakistan is Islam. This is the only country in the world that has been created on the basis of religion. (Israel was also created on the basis of religion but at least Jews had history to counter the nationhood.) I feel Pakistan lied and denied history all through its 60 odd years. Pakistan has made life miserable for the Hindu natives who live their, I feel sorry for these Hindu families in Pakistan and Bangladesh. All the Hindus businesses, social places and temples were destroyed and are being destroyed in Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Pakistan has forcefully made it social and cultural transformation so utterly different form what it was in earlier times. (before 1947) Pakistan has convincingly taken herself away from the Indian subcontinent to Arabian Peninsular. Islam is pushed into every daily life chores; the language is also thoroughly made Arabic to distinct it from India. Prayers in government departments are deemed compulsory, punishment are meted out to those who do not fast in Ramadan, selection for the university academic posts requires that the candidate demonstrate knowledge of Islamic teachings, and jehad is declared essential for every Muslim.

What ever is happening in the Swat valley and NWFP is the future of whole Pakistan. Simple expression of joy is condemned in that region, music is considered haraam. Why is Afghanistan in a similar cesspool, I know they probably will say the Pakistan military and Russian made it so but no the answer is quite clear for me the reason and the only reason is Islam. Why is it so that there is no Muslim country in the world who gives space to minorities to practice their customs? And who are these minorities in Muslim country? They are the natives whose ancestors refused to succumb to Islam.

Pakistan needs to accept the truth and the truth they have to find it out themselves because there is no institution that helps people accept truth with closed mind. For the reception of truth one needs to have an open mind, heart and soul.

How Good is Gulzar saheb..

Hi really like this cool guy Gulzar sahib (even his attire of kurta pajama).
He is an institution himself about filmmaking; I mean talk about his films, his poetry, his understanding of every department of films.
I'm watching his films from quite sometime now. 'Koshish' was very poignant tale of a deaf and dumb couple, really ahead of time film in at least Mumbai film industry. I like 'Namkeen' because of its simple village life and even our point of view to truck drivers with their foul language. ‘Mausam’ with Sanjeev Kumar.
As director he directed
Hu Tu Tu (1999), Maachis (1996), Lekin (1990), Libaas (1988) ,Ijaazat (1987) ,Ek Akar (1985), Aika (1984), Suniye (1984), Namkeen (1982), Angoor (1982), Sahira (1980), Meera (1979), Kinara (1977), Kitaab (1977), Khushboo (1975), Mausam (1975), Aandhi (1975), Achanak (1973), Koshish (1972), Parichay (1972), Mere Apne (1971 )

I liked the song called ‘chadee pahen ke phool kila hain’ from jungle book. We all love his lyrics many won’t be knowing this but all the major hit songs are penned by him. Like Chal Chaya Chaya(Dil Se), Kajrare Kajrare(Bunty aur Bubbly), Tere Bina (Guru), Yaraa Sili sili (Lekin), Anand, etc. Finally let’s not forget hi is a classical poet too. I don’t think of any other great commercial poet that even comes close to his nail. I wish he makes another film very soon..

Auctions

I'm angry , frustrated to our ability to buy this statement of buying artfacts from Christy's ,Southebys, etc. It's so ironic that we know that British stole our things from our land and now we pay more to buy the same ancestors property. But at the same time what else can be done ? nothing that I can think of. 'Kohinoor' diamond is still with the queen of England and I'm sure more immeasurable artfacts are in Palace of the queen which Britain stole from Africa, Asia, America, australia etc.

The duke, lords, governor, viceroy's all who were posted in India during colonial time, I'm sure their family is still holding to gems and jewels of our ancestors which they had got into pocessions through their political pressures on the Kingdoms in India.

So everytime their is recession on England and West we'll keep finding our jewellary, artfacts, statues, gems, etc. in the auctions houses which will be bought by preferably by Indians at highest price. Mahatma Gandhi's belonging was also one of the items to come at recession.

Just a vivid thought about auctions..

cheers

Elect those who choose India as life-force

Tarun Vijay

Surrounded by failed States and terror dens, India needs a strong leadership that will not hesitate to take punitive action against the erring State or non-State 'player' and organise the strength to withstand a spillover. Wars and inner conflicts are not won with machines. You got to have a heart that's firm and courageous. The war machine's role is secondary.

India was never so vulnerable and foolishly spineless as it stands today. Not because we do not have the power to defend our people and land but because of a leadership that's a delight of the alien invaders and petty boat infiltrators. Our leaders join politics to earn money and sell conscience -- they have no credentials except to boast of a family name or caste and muscle power. We have a galaxy of non-political leadership but that too boot polishes the nincompoop rulers in search of reflected glory. These holy men and women are so detached from the realities of their nation's pains and agonies that they go on a six-month long world tour for establishing peace in Palestine and Iraq and show off their pictures in the galleries of the United Nations as proof of their expanding influence. And surely they get quite a number of gullible people to believe they are great.

And we are increasingly surrounded by a Nepal, once a Hindu nation and now a threat for Hindu survival. We have a Pakistan and Bangladesh that have bled us continuously for the last three decades of intermittent terror wars -- Khalistan, Operation Topac, the jihad in Kashmir and the ignominious forced exodus of Kashmiri Hindus.

We have lost more than 60,000 Indians in terror attacks directly sponsored and encouraged by Pakistan -- whether its army or Inter Services Intelligence or the sheepish conspiratorial silence of their leaders, only the naive would make a difference and absolve the culprits. The simple arithmetic is that Pakistan, a creation of intense hate against Hindus, has always felt a sadistic pleasure at our discomfiture. It's the very basic element of Pakistan that has not let us live in peace since August 14, 1947.
But we refuse to see history and continue to lose geography.

Post-1947, we have lost more than 1.25 lakh square kilometres of land to Pakistan and China and Indian Parliament had passed a unanimous resolution to take the lost land back.
But not a single political party would dare to mention in its election manifesto that if voted to power it would strive its hardest possible to implement Parliament's resolve.
Why?
Cats would remain cats unless they are born as tigers.

The last 100 years has seen India shrinking to half and the Hindu population being overwhelmed by a demographic invasion that hates to see Hindu dominance in any sphere of life. They have vanished from Kabul, Balochistan, Pakhtunistan, Multan and Dhaka, humiliated in Kathmandu, killed, converted and incapacitated in Sri Lanka, turned invisible in Sindh, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Chittagong, driven out of their last bastion in the saffron valley and increasingly reduced in Nagaland, Arunacahal, Mizoram and Jammu. And we fight over sackfuls of currency notes as we saw during trust vote on the nuke deal and are busy winning votes through dramas like a night's stay in a Dalit home.

That's India of today -- reduced to an Orwellian play by murderers and bribe-seekers who are again seeking an entry to Parliament by investing huge chunks of money.
There are those who still believe that Pakistan will, or it can, or it may become brotherly to us. Perhaps Uncle Sam, now Chacha Obama , will help.
Even Gods refuse to help such worms.

Elect those who at least know a little bit of India and love her people. A leader that wouldn't hesitate to serve from South Block even if it means incurring personal monetary loss, but inspiring newcomers to stand and live proudly on their earnings through labour and merit. Living on peoples' money must come to an end. Forget the temples, mosques and churches for a while and just concentrate on two basic factors, removing illiteracy and bringing every fellow Indian above the poverty line with a one-year period as deadline. It has to be on a real war footing to make up for the losses due to a lethargic, vision less and self-serving leadership.
Trust me, we can do it if we have the will. Have courses in science, mathematics, engineering and technology upgraded, spread out and quality marked. We terribly lack in the manufacturing sector because there is not enough engineering talent available. Even the best of engineering colleges are facing a serious dearth of proper faculty and it results in less than appropriately equipped students. It's good to see a number of technology and engineering colleges, institutes and private universities that have sprung up in most of the cities and metros that must be the envy of even a developed nation. But are they really providing what they announce and do they have the right kind of facilities and infrastructure to produce credible graduates confident enough to start a swadeshi enterprise of world class standards?

If a post-World War America, Japan and Europe can rebuild their ravaged countries into models of modern development and human endeavour, why can't we? Why can't we set our own goals and standards that must make the most developed nation too follow us? Swami Vivekananda said all expansion is life and all contraction is death. Barring politics, we have shown the world the extraordinary capabilities and the astounding acumen to achieve the impossible in recent years. It happened, as is said, in spite of bad politicians. Let a new crop of good politicians take over Parliament and change its fossilised and stinking contours to a vibrant new hope commensurate with the professionalism being exhibited by Indians elsewhere.
And this is not at all age related but only needs a mind and heart that works for the nation.
And they must have the sinews to expand militarily unabashedly. India must show a will and the power to control her region. We are bled because of a meaningless large-heartedness that makes jihad factories on both sides of our territory send mercenary self-destructionist lunatics who kill and maim and destroy our people and city life. Bangladesh and Pakistan have got to be brought to their senses through instilling fear in them, a genuine and serious one. They have to be made to think twice before being silent or encouraging an anti-India terror policy. State policy makers must be clear in their mind that sometimes revenge is the only word the enemy understands and why must we not avenge the brutal killings of our patriotic citizens?

Hence choose those who choose India as their life-force and not just a platform for money making and dying like dirt. The choice is yours to practice in the coming elections.
