Asaduddin Owaisi booked for beating polling agent

Hyderabad, April 17

The Andhra Pradesh police today filed a case against Hyderabad MP and Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) strongman Asaduddin Owaisi for beating up a polling agent of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) during the polling in city yesterday.

Owaisi, who is seeking re-election from the state capital, was caught on camera thrashing up a political rival in full public view near a polling station in the Sultan Shahi area in the old city.

A case of rioting was booked against him at Moghalpura police station. The cases have been booked under IPC Sections 147 (rioting), 448 (trespass), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons) 188 (disobedience to order promulgated by public servant) and Section 132 of the Representation of People Act.

The TDP polling agent Syed Saleemuddin was beaten with a stick after a word was spread that he was distributing money to the voters near a polling station. The footage of Owaisi, along with his followers, chasing the TDP worker was aired on local television news channels.

“It is a law and order problem and the police will deal with the case accordingly, the state Chief Electoral Officer IV Subba Rao said.

The first phase of polling, covering 22 Lok Sabha seats, including Hyderabad and 154 Assembly constituencies, was held yesterday.

Hyderabad has been a traditional bastion of MIM. However, Owaisi is facing a tough contest this time around as he is pitted against Zahid Ali Khan, a noted journalist and editor of local Urdu daily Siasat. Khan is supported by the four-party opposition alliance comprising TDP, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), CPI and CPM.

Funny our media never covers anti Hindu incidents

Mysore tense following communal clash (2 April)

Our secular media just does not have the time and space for this incident, they only report incidents on minority. I'm no radical but Hindu bashing is our understanding of secularism, which will eventually destory India.

Why was this story not covered ? Hindu bashing is enjoyed by large section of secularists..I only say wrong is wrong in every culture, so why diffrentiate ?if this is becoming a norm from 70 years and before (2000 years) it's our tolerance and a one sided love affair.

Choices this election

In India the choice could never be between chaos and stability, but between manageable and un-manageable chaos, between human and inhuman anarchy, and between tolerable and intolerable dis order, so we always vote like this.

Hindu Bashing to please the election fodder

"Had I been country's home minister, I would have crushed Varun Gandhi under the roller and destroyed him without caring for the consequences for his hate speech against Muslims," ..Lalu Prasad Yadav..

Now I want to ask the secularist and the electronic media, that how much will you high light those words to the public and how long may be 2 days you will show what Lalu said(the manglore incident went for a month , the Varun Gandhi incident for weeks). But I've accessed it all ready what will happen step by step..

1. No secularist will pay attention to it because Lalu said it aginst a Hindu and one can say anything to Hindus as it is a norm.

2. The media will try thier best to hide the matter as far as possible. Barkha Dutt and gang will make an issue against Varun Gandhi for inciting Lalu to say those words.

3. The election fodder (Muslims) will vote whole heartedly for Lalu's RJD so that Lalu does what he said and they get the Quranic moral lesson(khoon ka badla khoon) literaly speakng.

4. Lalu will make another jest about Varun Gandhi when he'll be asked about the journalist.

5. The secularists will act the best way not to interfere with the matter as far as possible.

...cheers to more secularists in beings..this country is going down down till the changing of the guard of the country.
